Laurie and Tom set out to give their guests the best experience possible for their wedding May 12, 2012 at the Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa in Pasadena California.
The wedding day was not about them only, but an expression of their friendship and love for their family and friends.
They achieved that through a rich musical and spiritual wedding ceremony at the First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, a culinary tor de force by the Hotel’s gifted chef and staff, and the graceful elegant floral designs from Tic Toc Floral Designs.
Eddie and his team created a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere with lush mounds of pink roses, and spring blooms atop tall stately gilded candelabrum. The coordinating linen in satin swirl rose relief, made the feasting head table a stand out centerpiece for the historic Viennese Ballroom. Eddie suggested fine touches for the gold charger plates and gold votive lights that surrounded the base of fragrant centerpieces.
Paris inspired furniture from the gilded age supplied by Reverly, Inc. were grouped at either end of the ballroom to lend a ambience and room for small groups of guests to engage in conversation.
Swags of pale pink fabric draped from the far corners of the ballroom gave a more intimate and three dimensional frame for the lighting designer from Petersen Lighting to use as a canvas for his projections against the far walls reflecting the motifs from the invitation and menu fabric design created by Mimio Stationers.
Tom and Laurie added a fun element with the Traveling Photo Booth Company. The guests had so much fun mugging for the camera and posting their image in the sign in book during the evening.
Tom and Laurie created an evening with targeted indulgences, with superior service levels and abundant culinary creations provided by the hotel. The music and MC was in the capable hands of Awesome Entertainment and the event coordination provided by The Wedding Connection by Tobey Dodge.
Ultimately, Laurie and Tom’s giving natures created a backdrop of genuine warmth and appreciation for their guests. It was evident in not only in their words of thanks but by focusing on the pleasure and comfort of their guests.
